Interrupted Round

An interrupted round is one that stops before it is finished — a dropped connection, a closed tab, a browser crash, or a studio fault at the table. What happens to the money afterwards is decided by the game's own rules, and the outcomes are not equivalent. Slots and other software games hold the round server-side. The stake has already been taken and the outcome for that spin is already determined, so the round is preserved and resumes the next time the game is opened. This is why an unfinished free-spins feature reappears on the next visit, sometimes on a different device, and why the balance may look wrong until the round is completed. Live tables cannot wait. The dealer plays on, and a bet already accepted is settled by the table's rules without you. A blackjack hand left mid-decision is normally auto-completed to a defined rule rather than forfeited, and a bet placed on a roulette or baccarat round is simply settled on the result. Where a round genuinely cannot be completed — a studio failure, a malfunction called by the operator — the round is voided and stakes are returned. Void is a very different outcome from auto-complete, and which one applies is written in the game rules rather than in the site's general terms.
