Jackpot Wheel

Slots

A jackpot wheel awards tiered jackpots such as Mini, Minor, Major and Grand. Segment sizes differ, so the top tier lands very rarely.

A jackpot wheel is a bonus wheel whose segments hold jackpot tiers, commonly labelled Mini, Minor, Major and Grand, rather than ordinary cash prizes. It is usually triggered by a hold-and-win round or by collecting special symbols, and one spin of the wheel decides which tier, if any, is awarded. Segment sizes differ sharply: the small tiers occupy most of the wheel, while the Grand may sit on a single narrow slice, so the top prize lands very rarely. Some games require a higher stake to unlock the upper tiers, which raises the cost of every spin. The result is produced by the game's random number generator, so where the pointer stops is not influenced by timing, by the stop button, or by how long a tier has gone unclaimed.
