Optical Camera Recognition

Optical camera recognition, usually shortened to OCR, is the technology that converts what happens on a live casino table into digital data the platform can settle bets with. Cameras track the physical objects — the card leaving the shoe, the ball landing in a roulette pocket, the dice coming to rest — and software translates each event into a value that appears instantly in your interface and in the game history. OCR is what allows a physically dealt game to be scored, displayed and paid out automatically without a human entering results. It reads outcomes rather than generating them, so it is not a random number generator; the randomness still comes from the real equipment on the table.
