A bonus balance is the promotional portion of your account, held separately from withdrawable cash. Money in the bonus balance can be staked but not cashed out: it converts to real money only when the wagering requirement attached to it is completed in full, and often only up to a maximum cashout cap. Most account pages show the two balances side by side, along with a progress figure for the outstanding wagering. Which balance a wager draws from matters, because bets funded by bonus money are the ones subject to max bet limits, restricted games and game weighting. If the bonus expires, is cancelled, or the terms are breached, the bonus balance and any winnings still tied to it are removed. Treat a bonus balance as play credit with conditions, not as your own money.
