Bonus Forfeiture

Bonus forfeiture is the removal of a bonus, and usually of the winnings generated with it, when the promotion's conditions are not met. Common triggers are breaching the max bet rule, playing an excluded game, letting the bonus expire before wagering is complete, requesting a withdrawal while a bonus is active, or being judged to have breached the terms. Forfeiture can be voluntary too: many sites let you cancel a bonus to free up your remaining cash. The important detail is what disappears. Some terms remove only the bonus credit and leave your deposit intact; stricter ones strip the bonus and everything won from it, which can mean a large balance is cut back to zero. Read the forfeiture clause before claiming, and check whether cancellation is reversible.
