An account statement is the operator's record of money moving into and out of a player account: deposits, withdrawals, fees, bonus credits and adjustments, with dates and reference numbers. It is distinct from bet history and game history, which record what was wagered rather than what was paid.
Licensed operators are generally required to make this record available, and most provide it in the cashier or account area, often as a downloadable file over a chosen date range. Some send it on request through support instead.
It is the document that settles disagreements. A statement establishes whether a deposit was received, when a withdrawal was processed and what was deducted, which makes it the first attachment to any complaint. It is also the practical way to see net deposits over a period — a more honest figure than a balance — and it is what an operator or a bank will ask for if a source-of-funds check is ever raised.
