An irregular play clause is the section of bonus terms that lets an operator void a promotion when the betting pattern is judged to be aimed at the bonus rather than at the game. Typical examples listed in terms are covering most outcomes on a roulette table, alternating tiny and very large stakes, hopping between games only to clear wagering, or using bonus funds on low-edge tables. The clause is deliberately broad, so behaviour that feels normal to a player can still fall inside it.
