About Deal or No Deal Live

Deal or No Deal Live is Evolution's licensed adaptation of the television format, made with Endemol Shine and hosted around the clock. Unlike most live tables it is not one round played over and over; it runs in three stages, and the first two are played alone before the show itself. In the qualifying stage a three-reel bank vault is spun, and the result sets the value of the top briefcase at somewhere between 75 and 500 times the stake — so two players entering the same show can be playing for very different top prizes. Qualified players then reach the top-up stage, where random multipliers between 5x and 50x are applied to briefcases of their choosing from a board of sixteen. Only then does the live show begin, with a presenter, a board of remaining cases and a Banker who makes an offer as cases are eliminated. The decision is the one the format is built on: take the offer, or keep opening and hope the value left in your case beats it. Because the return depends on the qualifying multiplier and on whether an offer is accepted, the stage rules and the bet limits are set out in the game's own information panel.
