Mega Ball

Mega Ball is a live number-draw game from Evolution, launched in 2020 and hosted from a studio with a presenter and a physical drawing machine. The format is closer to a lottery or bingo round than to a casino table: instead of betting on an outcome, you buy cards of numbers before the draw, and the balls that come out of the machine mark them off. Lines completed across your cards are what pay, so the more cards in play the more chances there are for a draw to complete one — and the more each round costs. The feature the game is named for is the multiplier ball. Before the final ball is drawn, one or more balls are assigned multipliers, and any line completed by such a ball is paid at that multiplied value; multipliers on the same line compound, which is where the game's very long tail comes from. Because the multiplier is applied to a line rather than to the round, two players holding different cards in the same draw can see wildly different results from the same sequence of balls.
