Correct Map Score is an esports bet in which you predict the exact map scoreline of a series, such as 2-0 or 2-1 in a best-of-three, rather than simply which team wins. Because a best-of-three ends the moment one side reaches two map wins, only three outcomes are possible: 2-0 to either team or 2-1 in either direction, so the market has four selections. In a best-of-five it expands to include 3-0, 3-1 and 3-2 lines. Correct Map Score sits between a straightforward match-winner bet and a full map handicap, rewarding you for reading not just who wins but how decisively. Pricing reflects probability: a 2-0 for a heavy favourite might be around 1.80, a 2-1 for that same favourite around 3.50, and a 2-0 upset by the underdog perhaps 8.00 or higher. Because the outcome must land precisely, correct-score markets carry longer odds and lower strike rates than the moneyline. Worked example: you back Team A to win 2-0 in a best-of-three at odds of 1.90 with a 20-euro stake. If Team A sweeps both maps, you collect 38 euros for a 18-euro profit. If they win but drop a map, finishing 2-1, the bet loses entirely even though your side advanced, because the scoreline did not match. Why it matters: the exact-score requirement turns a correct match read into a losing ticket if a single map slips, so it is unforgiving of variance. The common mistake is treating a 2-0 as barely riskier than a moneyline. Compare with map betting, total maps, map handicap and correct score.
